Homemade Pork Burger Patties “Burger Daging Babi” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Learn how to make these patties at home today. super simple, super delicious and chemical free. Here is my simple recipe for it.

(Temen-temen yang demen burger, belajar bikin patty nya sendiri di rumah yuk. Cara bikinnnya gampang dan yang pasti aman disajikan untuk keluarga karena bebas bahan pengawet dan sebagainya. Ini aku bikin burger babi, tapi bisa diganti sapi sesuai selera ya. Yuk, cobain!)

“OMG …drooling”

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground pork (daging babi giling segar)
  • 1 onion (bawang bombay)
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder (bubuk bawang putih)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt (garam)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of pepper (merica bubuk)
  • 1/4 tablespoon of cheyenne pepper (bubuk cabe merah besar)
  • 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs (tepung roti/ roti tawar diserpih halus)
  • 1 tablespoon of potato/corn starch (tepung kanji kentang/ maizena)
  • 1 egg (telur)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter (mentega)

Steps:

1. Chop the onion into small dices, and saute it with butter until golden brown.

(Potong-potong bawang bombay menjadi dadu kecil dan tumis dengan mentega hingga kecoklatan)

2. Mix together minced pork, sauted onion, onion powder (or you can use small diced fresh onion instead), salt, pepper, cheyenne pepper, bread crumbs, potato/corn starch, and egg in a big bowl.

(Campurkan daging babi giling, tumis bawang bombay, bubuk bawang putih (boleh juga gunakan potongan bawang putih segar), garam, merica, bubuk cabe merah besar, tepung roti, tepung kanji kentang/maizena, dan telur dalam sebuah mangkuk besar)

3. Knead slightly the mix with clean hand for about 3 minutes.

(Uleni bersama campuran daging dengan tangan bersih selama 3 menit)

4. Start to make balls using the meat mix depends on how many patties you want and how big you want them to be.

(Mulai membuat bola-bola dari campuran daging tadi, tergantung dari berapa banyak jumlah patties dan seberapa besar ukuran yang diinginkan)

5. You can preheat your griddle/ non stick pan on medium heat.

(Mulai panaskan penggorengan anti lengket/ teflon di api medium)

6. Flatten the meat balls slightly and start to pan grill for about 7 minutes on each side. Done!

(Pipihkan bola daging perlahan dan mulai panggang patties di penggorengan selama 7 menit per sisi patty. Selesai)

7. Serve the patties warm with your fave carb.

(Sajikan hangat bersama makanan utama pilihanmu: roti, kentang, nasi, dll)

8. You can store the patties in the freezer inside a box with each base of them covered by parchment/ baking paper.

(Dapat pula disimpan di dalam lemari pendingin atas (freezer) dengan masing-masing dasar patties dilapisi kertas roti)

9. Serve the patties with burger buns, fave sauce, fresh lettuce, tomato and shallots. Yummm (Sajikan burger nya dengan roti hamburger, saus favorite, selada segar, tomat dan bawang merah besar/bombay juga boleh)
