Oven Fried Chicken “Ayam Goreng Oven” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Love fried chicken yet don’t have any frying oil at home at present. Well, this recipe shall be your answer. Today I made this yummy Oven fried chicken, instead of employing my fryer and oil, I used my oven to bake them good. Here is the simp recipe for it.

(Teman-teman ini aku share resep menggoreng ayam goreng tepung pakai OVEN ya, jadi tanpa banyak minyak yang seperti biasa kita pakai untuk menggoreng ayam. Sesuaikan waktu memanggang dengan jumlah ayam yang digunakan ya. Yuk, cobain!)

“oven fried chicken..goreng ayam tepung tanpa banyak minyak”

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of chicken thigh (paha bawah ayam)
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice (perasan jeruk nipis)
  • salt and pepper (garam dan merica secukupnya)
  • 200 ml of cold milk (susu cair dingin)
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil (minyak sayur)

Frying Mix (Tepung Bumbu nya –> campur semua bahan):

– 1 cup of all purpose flour (125 grams) (tepung terigu)

– 1/4 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 1 tablespoon of garlic powder (bubuk bawang putih)

– 1 teaspoon of cheyenne pepper (bubuk cabe merah besar)

– 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder

– 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper (bubuk merica hitam)

Steps:

1. Mix the chicken with lime juice, salt and pepper and set aside for 1 hour.

(Campur ayam dengan perasan jeruk nipis, garam dan merica dan diamkan 1 jam.)

2. Preheat the oven to 425 F/ 220 C.

(Panaskan oven hingga 220 C.)

3. Prepare 200 ml of cold milk (susu cair dingin) in a bowl.

(Siapkan 200 ml susu cair dingin di dalam mangkuk.)

4. Begin to dip the chicken into the milk one at a time.

(Celupkan 1 potong ayam di dalam susu cair dingin.)

5. Roll the chicken on the mix flour. Turn back the chicken to the milk, and once again roll it on the frying mix. For more curly effect, pinch the surface of the floured chicken with your fingers for couple times.

(Gulingkan ayam diatas tepung bumbu, celup ayam sekali lagi ke dalam susu dingin, dan guling kembali ke tepung bumbu, untuk hasil gorengan yang lebih keriting: cubit-cubit permukaan ayam bertepung beberapa kali.)

6. Tap the excess of the flour and set aside.

(Ketuk-ketuk ayam untuk menjatuhkan sisa tepung yang menempel di permukaan dan sisihkan.)

7. Brush the chicken and grilling rack in the oven with vegetable oil/ cooking spray. Bake the chicken in the oven for 10 minutes.

(Sapukan tipis dengan kuas/ semprot tipis ayam dan rak pemanggang dalam oven dengan minyak sayur. Panggang ayam dalam oven selama 10 menit.)

8. Turn down the oven to 180 C and bake the chicken for 40 minutes more.

(Turunkan suhu oven menjadi 180 C dan panggang lagi selama 40 menit atau hingga matang betul. Sesuaikan waktu memasak dengan jumlah ayamnya. )

9. Put the oven fried chicken in a plate and serve warm!

(Pindahkan ayam pada sebuah piring. Sajikan hangat!)
