Cheese Bread Crumbed Fish “Ikan Goreng Tepung & Keju” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

For fish and chips lovers. I add mozzarella cheese on top of it, and instead of using batter for coating the fish, I used bread crumbs. Here is the simple recipe for it.

(Teman-teman masak ikan dori goreng dengan keju yuk, cara bikinnya gampang dan anak anak pasti suka karena ada kejunya. Yuk, cobain!)

“Cheese…”

Ingredients:

  • 2 bass fish fillet/ white fish fillet (fillet ikan dori)
  • salt and pepper (garam dan merica)
  • some all purpose flour (tepung terigu)
  • 1 egg –> beaten (telur ayam –> kocok)
  • some bread crumbs (tepung panir/ tepung roti/ panko)
  • some frying oil (minyak goreng)
  • some mozzarella cheese –> grated (keju mozzarella –> parut)
  • some Italian seasoning flakes (oregano/ thyme/ basil/ rosemary bubuk)

Steps:

  1. Season the fish with salt and pepper on both sides. Set aside for 30 minutes. (Baluri ikan dengan garam dan merica secukupnya di kedua sisinya. Sisihkan selama 30 menit.)
  2. Heat frying pan with lot of oil to fry the fish on MEDIUM. (Panaskan wajan dengan banyak minyak untuk menggoreng ikan, api MEDIUM.)
  3. Heat the oven on 200 C BROIL. (Panaskan oven/ toaster api atlas 200 c.)
  4. Drag the fish on the flour on both sides. (Baluri ikan dengan tepung terigu.)
  5. Drag the fish on beaten egg on both sides. (Celup ikan dalam telur kocok.)
  6. Drag the fish on bread crumbs. (Baluri ikan dengan tepung panir/ tepung roti.)
  7. Deep fry the fish until golden brown. (Goreng ikan hingga kecoklatan.)
  8. Put the fish on baking pan, sprinkle generous amount of mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning flakes. (Letakkan ikan pada baking pan dan taburi keju mozzarella dan bubuk rempah Italia.)
  9. Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes or until cheese melt. (Panggang selama 2-3 menit atau sampai keju leleh.)
  10. Serve hot. (Sajikan segera.)
