Welcome to cook and bake people! Enjoy many recipes from my kitchen my personal way.

Korean Kimchi Duruchigi (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Peep inside my fridge and planning for surprising hubby for dinner tomorrow. I’ll cook one of his fave cuisine from Korea, Kimchi Duruchigi. It’s stir fry of pork/beef/chicken with red sauce made of spices. Easy to make and very delicious. Here is the recipe for it.

Yuk, cobain bareng-bareng.)

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of pork neck steak (daging babi agak berlemak)
  • 2 cups of Kimchi –> sliced small (Kimchi –> potong kecil)
  • 3 garlic –> minced (bawang putih –> haluskan)
  • 2 onions –> sliced (bawang bombay –> iris-iris)
  • 1 carrot –> peeled and cut sticks (wortel –> kupas dan potong korek)
  • 1,5 cups of Kimchi Juice (jus/cairan alami dari Kimchi)
  • 2 tablespoons of Gujujang (Pasta lombok merah besar khas Korea)
  • 1 tablespoon of Mirin (arak manis Jepang)
  • 2 tablespoons of Red pepper powder (bubuk lombok merah besar)
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (kecap asin)
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (saus tiram)
  • salt and pepper (garam dan merica secukupnya)

Steps:

  1. Sliced thin the pork and mix it with the rest ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate overnight. (Iris tipis daging dan campur rata dengan semua bahan lainnya. Simpan tertutup dalam lemari es semalaman.)
  2. The day after. Heat a pan on MEDIUM with 2 tablespoons of oil on it. (Keesokan harinya. Panaskan wajan dengan api MEDIUM, beri 2 sendok makan minyak sayur.)
  3. Stir fry the pork mix until cooked. (Tumis hingga matang.)
  4. Serve immediately. (Sajikan segera)
