Homemade Beef Nugget “Nugget Daging Sapi” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

For you nugget lover, here is simple recipe for beef nugget. Try it soon!

(Teman-teman, ini resep simple untuk bikin nugget daging sapi di rumah. Cocok untuk anak anak pecinta nugget. Bikin sama-sama yuk!)

Ingredients:

Blended Ingredients (Bahan untuk dihaluskan):

  • 500 grams of ground beef (daging sapi giling)
  • 4 cloves of garlic (bawang putih)
  • 2 eggs –> beaten (telur ayam –> kocok lepas)
  • 5 slices of white bread –> soak in water and squeeze (roti tawar putih –> rendam dalam air matang dan peras kering)
  • salt and pepper (garam dan merica bubuk)

Coating (Pelapis Nugget):

  • 3 large eggs –> beaten (telur ayam –> kocok lepas)
  • some bread crumbs (tepung roti/ panir)

Steps:

  1. Heat steamer with lot of water to steam the meat. (Panaskan dandang dengan banyak air untuk merebus daging giling.)
  2. Blend all the ingredients except the egg and bread crumbs for coating. (Haluskan semua bahan untuk dihaluskan, boleh menggunakan food processor/ blender.)
  3. Take 2 of 20×20 cm square baking pan. Lay with baking paper. Put in smooth blended ingredients and generously spread. (Ambil 2 pan kue bentuk persegi ukuran 20 x 20 cm. Alasi dengan baking paper dan letakkan daging giling halus dan ratakan.)
  4. Steam the meat until cooked for 25 minutes. (Kukus daging hingga matang selama 25 menit.)
  5. Take out the meat and cool completely. (Keluarkan daging dan biarkan mendingin sempurna.)
  6. Cut the meat following preferences. (Potong sesuai selera.)
  7. Coat the meat with egg, followed with bread crumbs. Repeat the process once more. (Lapisi daging dengan telur kocok dan gulingkan ke tepung roti/panir. Ulangi proses ini sekali lagi.)
  8. Store the nugget in closed box and keep in FREEZER for overnight. (Letakkan nugget dalam kotak bertutup dan simpan dalam FREEZER semalaman.)IMG_9824
  9. The day after, heat lot of oil in large frying pan on LOW – MEDIUM. Fry the nugget until golden brown. Serve warm. (Keesokan harinya, panaskan minyak pada wajan dengan api KECIL-MEDIUM. Goreng nugget hingga keemasan. Sajikan hangat.)
