NO OVEN Japanese Somen Noodle Pizza “Pizza Misoa” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Just craving for pizza yet to lazy to make even the fastest dough for it. Here is the recipe for Japanese women noodle pizza. The pizza base is the women noodle, topping with simple spinach and tomato, grated with cheese, all cooked only in frying pan. Here we go!

(Teman-teman, ini aku share resep bikin pizza tanpa adonan roti, tapi pake misoa, enaak banget, aku beri topping bayam dan tomat, ditaburi keju Gouda Holland, dan semuanya dimasak dalam satu Teflon aja diatas api, tanpa oven. Yuk, cobain!)

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams od Japanese Somen noodle –> cook following instruction on packaging, drain and set aside (misoa –> masak sesuai petunjuk kemasan dan tiriskan.)
  • 2 large eggs –> beaten (telur ayam –> kocok)
  • 1 clove of garlic –> minced (bawang putih –> haluskan)
  • salt and pepper (garam dan merica bubuk secukupnya)
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (minyak sayur)

Topping :

  • 1 tomato –> slice thin (tomat –> iris tipis)
  • some spinach –> use only the leaves (bayam –> gunakan daunnya saja)
  • 60 grams od Gouda cheese (keju –> pilih yang mudah leleh)

Steps:

  1. Heat a medium TEFLON/ non stick pan on small-medium heat. (Panaskan wajan Teflon ukuran medium dengan api kecil-medium.)
  2. In a bowl, mix together beaten egg, cooked Somen noodle, salt, pepper and garlic. (Pada sebuah mangkuk, campur bersama telur, misoa, garam merica dan bawang putih.)
  3. Pour vegetable oil in a pan and pour in the egg and Somen mixture. Flatten and spread it generously and evenly. Directly put the topping except the cheese on the surface of the “pizza”. (Tuang minyak sayur, tuang campuran misoa telur dan ratakan. Segera letakkan irisan tomat dan bayam, kecuali kejunya diatas pizza misoa.)
  4. Close the pan with its lid and cook in LOW for 10-15 minutes or until it’s crispy on base and golden brown. (Tutup wajan dan masak dengan api KECIL selama 10-15 menit, sambil terus diperiksa jangan sampai gosong, tutup hingga bagian dasar pizza renyah dan kecoklatan.)
  5. Slightly flip the Somen egg “pizza” and cook the surface with topping for 5 minutes. (Perlahan balik pizza dan masak bagian dengan topping dibawah selama 5 menit.)
  6. Flip it once again and begin to grate the cheese over the topped surface, close the lid of the pan and cook again for 2 minutes or until the cheese melt. (Balik pizza sekali lagi dengan bagian dengan topping diatas, parut keju diatasnya, tutup wajan dan masak selama 2 menit atau hingga keju meleleh.)
  7. Turn off the heat and serve the pizza. Enjoy! (Matikan api dan sajikan pizza segera.)
