Oriental Butter Sauce Chicken “Ayam Goreng Mentega” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Deep fried/ oven baked chicken served with simple butter sauce that will win your heart at once. Very easy to prepare and serve wonderful dinner. I used to bake the chicken in the oven rather that deep fried it. Try it soon!

(Teman-teman ini auk share resep untuk bikin Ayam Goreng menetega yang bisa dicoba di rumah. Bahan bahannya sederhana dan ayamnya boleh digoreng garing atau di oven matang dulu sebelum diberi bumbu. Aku biasa oven ayamnya supaya ringkes aja nggak usah pake nggoreng hehe… Yuk cobain)

Oriental Butter Chicken "Ayam Goreng Mentega" (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Ingredients:

– 1 kg of chicken –> cut (ayam –> potong sesuai selera)

–  1 lemon –> squeeze (buah lemon –> peras)

– salt and pepper (garam dan merica secukupnya)

– 3 cloves of garlic –> bashed (bawang putih –> geprak)

– 1 onion –> cut chunk (bawang bombay –> potong kotak agak besar)

– 2 green onion –> cut long (bawang prei –> potong panjang)

– 2 tablespoons of butter (butter/ mentega)

– 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (saus tiram)

– 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (kecap asin)

Steps:

1. Put the chicken in a big bowl, rub all of the surface of the chicken with lemon juice, give it some salt and pepper. Then, cover the bowl with plastic wrap/ lid in the fridge for 1 hour.

(Letakkan ayam dalam sebuah mangkuk lalu urapi permukaannya dengan perasan jeruk lemon, bumbui dengan garam dan merica secukupnya. Tutup mangkuk dengan plastik/ tutupnya, lalu simpan dalam lemari es bawah selama 1 jam.)

2. Deep fried the chicken or bake the chicken in the oven with 180 C for 45 minutes.

(Goreng ayam dengan minyak atau oven ayam hingga matang. Jika menggunakan Oven maka suhu yang digunakan adalah 180 selama kurang lebih 45 menit.)

3. Heat a big pan/ wok on HIGH. Melt the butter and stir fry the garlic until fragrant. Put in the onion and chicken and stir well for couple minutes only. Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper, cook for 5 minutes. Put in the green onion and turn off the stove. Serve immediately.

(Panaskan wajan dengan api BESAR, lelehkan butter dan tumis bawang putih hingga harum. Masukkan bawang bombay dan ayam lalu aduk rata beberapa menit. Bumbui dengan kecap asin, saus tiram, garam dan merica secukupnya. Masak sambil perlahan diaduk selama 5 menit. Masukkan potongan bawang prei dan aduk rata. Matikan api dan sajikan ayam segera.)
