Mini Vegetable Spring Rolls “Lumpia Goreng isi Sayur” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

A nice trick to enjoy veggies in yummy way, all time fave vegetable spring rolls. I filled the rolls with egg, carrot, green onions, onion, and chicken. Very crunchy and delicious. Here is the recipe!

(Teman-teman, ini aku share resep bikin lumpia goreng mini isi telur, sayuran dan bawang. Sayuran baik untuk badan dan bawang bawangan kayak antibiotik alami, cocok juga untuk anak kecil, pastikan kita gunakan minyak bersih baru untuk menggorengnya. Yuk, bikin bareng-bareng!)

Mini Vegetable Spring Rolls "Lumpia Goreng isi Sayur" (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Ingredients: (20 mini spring rolls)

– 1 big carrot –> grate with cheese grater (wortel besar –> parut kasar atau potong korek kecil)

– 1 big onion –> cut long thin (bawang bombay –> iris tipis panjang)

– 2 green onions –>  cut small (bawang prei –> potong kecil)

– 2 eggs –> beaten (telur ayam –> kocok lepas)

– 150 grams of chicken breast fillet –> cut small cubes (dada ayam –> potong kotak kecil)

– 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (minyak sayur)

– 3 cloves of garlic –> bashed (bawang putih –> geprak)

– 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (saus tiram)

– salt and pepper (garam dan merica secukupnya)

– 1 egg white for sealing the wrapper (1 putih telur untuk melekatkan kulit lumpia)

– some vegetable oil for frying the spring rolls (minyak untuk menggoreng lumpia)

– some spring roll wrappers (kulit lumpia instant)

Steps:

1. Heat a big pan on Medium, pour in the vegetable oil, when the oil is hot enough put in the garlic, stir fry them until fragrant. Put in the egg and scramble slightly using spatula, Put in the chicken and cook until it’s well cooked.

(Panaskan wajan dengan api medium, tuang minyak sayur, ketika minyak sudah panas, tumis bawang putih hingga harum, masukkan telur kocok dan orak arik hingga matan, masukkan daging ayam dan masak hingga matang.)

2. Put in the carrot and mix well, put in the onion, and green onion.

(Masukkan wortel dan aduk rata, masukkan bawang bombay dan bawang prei.)

3. Season with oyster sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well. Cook until they are little bit soft. Turn off the stove.

(Bumbui dengan saus tiram, garam dan merica secukupnya. Aduk rata dan masak hingga sayuran agak lemas. Matikan api dan sisihkan.)

4. Set the filling aside for 15 minutes.

(Biarkan isian mendingin selama 15 menit.)

5. Prepare 1 sheet of spring roll wrapper, put in 1 tablespoon of filling near one of the corner of it, then slightly roll it to the middle of the wrapper, then fold in the right and left corner then roll it again tight. Seal the wrapper using egg white. Set aside and repeat the process until all of the filling done.

(Siapkan 1 lembar kulit lumpia dan letakkan 1 sendok makan isian di salah satu sudut kulit, lalu perlahan gulung hingga pertengahan kulit, lalu lipat sudut kiri kanan dan kembali gulung rapat, lekatkan dengan putih telur. Sisihkan dan ulangi hingga isian habis.)

6. Heat enough vegetable oil in deep frying pan on medium. When the oil is hot enough, place in some spring rolls and deep fry them until golden brown. Drop the excess oil in a sieve and serve warm.

(Panaskan penggorengan dengan cukup minyak untuk menggoreng lumpia denga api medium. Ketika minyak sudah cukup panas, masukkan satu persatu lumpia dan goreng hingga kuning keemasan. Tiriskan dan sajikan panas.)
