Chocochips Cookie (no Baking Soda and Brown Sugar) (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

No Baking Soda?? No Brown Sugar?? = no probs! Try this crunchy Good Time copycat Chochip Cookie soon. Crunchy instead of chewy. Here we go! (Teman-teman, ini aku share bikin Chochip Cookie kayak punya Good Time Cookies yang biasa kita beli di supermarket. Renyah dan eaaak. Tanpa Baking Soda dan Brown sugar. Cobain sekarang yuk!) Chocochips Cookies (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia) Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups of all purpose flour (312 gram) (tepung terigu serba guna)
  • ½ cups of white sugar (95 gram)(gula pasir)
  • 80 ml of honey (madu)
  • 1 cup of butter (229 gram)(butter suhu ruang)
  • 2 eggs (telur ayam)
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (vanilla)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (359 gram)(butiran choco chips)

Steps:

1. In a big bowl, beat the butter and sugar for couple minutes using hand mixer on HIGH. Put in eggs, honey, and vanilla. Beat on medium again for couple minutes.

(Pada sebuah mangkuk besar, kocok butter dengan gula pasir selama beberapa menit saja dengan mixer kecepatan TINGGI. Masukkan telur, madu dan vanilla. Kocok lagi dengan medium selama beberapa menit.)

2. Mix together the flour and baking powder in small bowl. Pour in the flour and baking powder to the big bowl.

(Aduk bersama tepung terigu dengan baking powder dalam mangkuk kecil. Tuang tepung dan baking powder dalam mangkuk besar berisi mentega gula.)

3. Put in the chocolate chips and fold in the dough using rubber spatula. The dough should be solid, if the dough is too soft, cover the bowl with plastic wrap tight and place it in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

(Masukkan chocolate chips dan lipat dalam adonan dengan menggunakan spatula. Adonan harus tampak solid dan agak keras (tidak lembek, jika adonan lembek bisa masukkan kedalam kulkas dalam keadaan mangkuk tertutup rapat. Selama 1-2 jam))

4. Preheat the oven to 180 C. (Panaskan oven hingga 180 C.)

5. Take 1 tablespoon of dough and round with hands then place it on baking tray with baking paper on it. Repeat until the dough finished.

(Ambil 1 sendok makan adonan dan bulatkan dengan tangan lalu letakkan di atas baking tray yang telah dilapisi dengan baking paper. Ulangi hingga semua adonan habis.)

6. Flat the dough balls using your palm. Then bake the dough for 12-14 minutes in the oven.

(Pipihkan bulatan adonan dengan menggunakan telapak tangan. Panggang adonan selama 12-14 menit dalam oven.)

7. Take the cookies out of the oven and place them on cooling rack.

(Keluarkan cookies dari oven dan letakkan diatas rak pendingin kue.)

  1. Store the cookies in closed jar when they are cooled completely.

(Simpan cookies dalam toples bertutup setelah cookies dingin sempurna.)
