Crispy Thin Crepe with Chinese Sausage Filling “Lekker Paimo Isi Lap Cheong Keju ” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Love crepes that sold in malls? This savory mouth watering thin crunches haunts me today that I made it my self for snack. I use my own recipe for this crepe, well I don’t have crepe pan (saw it in Walmart but haven’t bought any..really wish too). And this is my thin crepe with Chinese Sausage and cheese feeling, sooooo gooood…Here is the recipe!

(Teman-teman ini auk share cara bikin kue Lekker/ crepes yang tipis plus kriuk seperti yang dijual di mall mall itu. Resep nya gampang banget, yang agak susah tu bikin nya di Teflon, karena aku nggak punya pan khusus crepe plus tongkat pemutar nya itu, cuma pakai spatula diputar dan panci Teflon biasa. Yuk, cobain!)

Crispy Thin Crepe with Chinese Sausage Filling "Keu Lekker Paimo iso Lal Cheong" (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Ingredients:

Thin Crepe (Lekker):

– 1/2 cup of all purpose flour (Tepung terigu serbaguna)

– 1/2 cup of water (air putih)

– 1 teaspoon of white sugar (gula pasir)

– some salt (garam secukupnya)

Filling (Isinya):

– Chinese sausage –> slice thin and stir fry for minutes (Lap cheong –> iris tipis dan tumis beberapa menit)

– eggs –> sunny side it (telur ayam –> goreng mata sapi)

– some shallot/ onion –> sliced thin (bawang merah besar/ bawang bombay juga boleh –> iris tipis)

– some fresh green lettuce (selada hijau segar)

– 1 tomato –> diced (tomat –> potong dadu kecil)

– black pepper (bubuk merica hitam secukupnya)

– some cheese –> grated (keju kesayanganmu –> parut)

Steps:

1. Make the crepe : Heat a non stick pan on MEDIUM, then when the pan is ready, pour in 3 tablespoons of batter and quickly flatten and round them with spatula (it will be better if you had crepe tool/ stick to make it). Cook and wait if the crepe looked blobby, prick slowly with fork/ knife to flatten it back. The key is to cook the surface of the crepe until it’s dry and crackling. Flip and cook the opposite crepe for another 2 minutes.

(Membuat Lekker nya: Panaskan Teflon dengan api MEDIUM. Jika wajan sudah panas, tuang kurang lebih 3 sendok makan adonan dan SEGERA ratakan dengan spatula hingga tipis benar. Masak dan tunggu hingga permukaan Lekker menggelembung, segera tusuk pelan dengan garpu atau ujung pisau. Intinya adalah kita harus memasak kulit Lekker hingga kecoklatan dan mengering kriuk. Balik dan biarkan permukaan sebaliknya mengering kurang lebih 2 menit.)

2. Take the crepe out of the pan and fill HALF of the crepe with sausages, tomato, onion, egg, cheese and lettuce the amount you like, fold it well. Serve immediately and enjoy the crackling moment. Yum

(Angkat Lekker dari wajan dan segera isi SEPARUH bagian Lekker dengan selada, tomat, keju, telur mata sapi, sosis, dan bawang iris. Lipat dan sajikan segera. Selamat menikmati! )
