1 Hour Ready Homemade Hamburger Buns “Roti Burger” (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Any activity for upcoming weekend?? Try to make burger buns yourself at home. It’s simple and you can make it just in 1 hour. No longer proofing time and it’s still very-very soft and tender. Here we go!

(Teman-teman, ini aku share bikin roti burger sendiri di rumah, cantap cetakan khusus dan yang penting nggak pake lama bikinnya, cukup 1 jam aja. Cocok untuk yang pengen menghindari pengawet roti dan cocok untuk anak-anak di rumah. Hasil rotinya halus dan lembut. Yuk, cobain!)

Quick 1 Hour Ready Homemade Hamburger Buns "Roti Burger"

Ingredients: (6 large buns/ 6 roti burger)

– 1 cup of warm water (236 ml air hangat)

– 1 package of yeast (1 bungkus ragi instant)

– 3 tablespoons of white sugar (gula pasir)

– 2 tablespoons of butter (butter)

– 1 egg (telur ayam)

– 1/2 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 2,5 cup all purpose flour (312 grams tepung terigu)

– some milk (room temperature) for brushing (susu cair suhu ruang untuk olesan)

– some sesame seed (biji wijen)

Steps:

1. In a big bowl, mix together warm water, butter, yeast, and sugar using spatula. Mix well and let it rest for 10 minutes until the bubbles appears.

(Pada mangkuk besar, campur bersama air hangat, butter, ragi instant dan gula pasir dengan menggunakan spatula. Campur rata dan biarkan selama 10 menit hingga muncul gelembung ragi.)

2. Beat the egg and pour it in the bowl, mix well using spatula and put in the flour and salt, mix again well using spatula.

(Masukkan telur dan aduk rata dengan spatula, kemudian masukkan tepung dan garam, aduk rata lagi dengan spatula.)

3. Knead the super sticky dough using your HANDS for about 10 minutes. The dough will remain sticky but that is ok, sprinkle flour little by little while kneading until the dough become smooth and no longer too sticky.

(Uleni adonan yang tampak sangat lengket dengan TANGAN selama 10 menit. Adonan akan tampak tetap lengket, tamburi sedikit demi sedikit dengan tepung terigu dan terus hingga adonan sedikit kalis, bisa dibanting juga.)

4. Place the bowl covered with plastic wrap in a warm place and let the dough rise for 40 minutes or doubled in size.

(Letakkan mangkuk di tempat hangat sambil ditutup dengan plastik/ kain basah selama 40 menit atau hingga ukurannya 2 kali semula.)

5. Line your baking tray with baking paper.

(Lapisi baking tray dengan kertas baking.)

6. After 40 minutes, punch the dough to release the trapped air bubble inside and knead the dough again for only 3 minutes. Then, divide the dough onto 6 equal pieces and form them into balls. Rest the dough again for 10 minutes.

(Setelah 40 menit, kempeskan adonan dengan tangan untuk mengeluarkan udara di dalamnya, uleni lagi adonan selama 3 menit. Bagi adonan menjadi 6 bagian sama. Bentuk masing-masing menjadi bola. Biarkan adonan mengembang lagi selama 10 menit.)

7. Preheat your oven to 210 C. Brush the surface of the dough with milk, repeat until all of the dough covered with milk.

(Panaskan oven hingga 210 C. Olesi permukaan adonan dengan susu cair, ulangi hingga semua permukaan adonan terlapisi susu cair.)

8. Bake the dough in the oven for 11-12 minutes. Take the bread out the oven and let them cool completely before serving it with your fave patties.

(Panggang adonan dalam oven selama 11-12 menit. Keluarkan roti dari oven dan biarkan mendingin sempurna sebelum disajikan bersama daging burger kesayangan.)
