Cheese, Leek, and Garlic Round Bread (Bilingual Eng-Indonesia)

Got inspired by many recipes of this round bread, sliced uncut then filled with cheese and veggies. Well this time I tried the round potato bread with leek, garlic and cheese. I am using mild Gouda cheese and American toast cheese, Danish butter, and lil bit of stir fried garlic. The garlic gave it personal fragrant you’ll love combined with the nice smell of the cheese itself. Enjoy this fun pulling apart bread with your family. Here we go!

Monggo…)

Cheese, Leek, Garlic Round bread

Ingredients:

– 500 grams round bread (roti bulat berkulit keras)

– 200 grams of Gouda cheese (keju Gouda, boleh juga keju jenis lain sesuai selera)

– 5 sheets of American toast cheese –> Cut onto 9 equal squares (keju mudah leleh lembaran, seperti keju mozzarella juga boles, keju Cheddar Quick Melt juga boleh –> potong menjadi 9 bagian kotak kecil)

– 100 grams of unsalted butter –> melted (butter tidak asin/ plain –> lelehkan)

– 4 large spring leek –> chopped (bawang prei –> cacah kecil)

– 2 cloves of garlic –> chopped (bawang putih –> cacah kecil)

Steps:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.

(Panaskan oven hingga 180 C.)

2. Slice the bread from side to side equally using shredded knife without cutting it off. Set aside.

Sisihkan.)

3. Put in both Gouda and toast cheese to every single slot on the bread, push it lil bit to make “open” small “holes” to put in the leek later.

4. Heat a sauce pan on medium and melt the butter, turn on the heat to low then put in the garlic, saute until fragrant. Turn off the stove and set the pan aside.

5. Put in the chopped leek in the melted butter and mix them well. Put in the leek, garlic and butter together on every slot of the bread equally. Wrap the bread with baking paper and bake the bread for 15 minutes.

6. After 15 minutes, take off the baking paper wrap and continue bake it in the oven for 10 minutes. Take out the bread and serve immediately. Enjoy the melting thing!

(Setelah 15 menit, lepas semua bungkusan baking paper, lalu panggang kembali roti selama 10 menit. Keluarkan roti dari oven dan sajikan segera. Keju meleleh sempurna dan roti empuk didalamnya. Yummm)
