Pineapple Tart Bites or “Pineapple Kiss” Nastar Nanas (Bilingual Eng-Indo)

These are batches of happiness! Try this recipe soon, serves you tiny butter tart with homemade pineapple jam. Super delicious and I may say 10 will never enough in one sit. Give yourself a bite then..

(Teman-teman aku share resep untuk bikin Nastar full butter yang enak. Pake butter sepenuhnya tanpa margarin, jadi otomatis lebih aman dikonsumsi, baik orang dewasa apalagi anak-anak. Yuk, cobain bikin juga..)

Ingredients: (+/- 70-80 tiny tarts)

Pineapple Jam (Selai Nanasnya):

– 3 cups of pineapple –> blend well (buah nanas –> blender halus)

– 6 tablespoons of white sugar (gula pasir)

Pastry tart (Adonan kulitnya):

– 1 cup of unsalted butter (229 gram butter)

– 1 cup of powdered sugar (130 gram gula bubuk)

– 1 egg (telur ayam)

– 3 cup of all purpose flour (374 gram tepung terigu)

– 1/4 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 2 egg yolk for brushing (kuning telur untuk olesan)

Steps:

1. Heat a non stick sauce pan on medium, pour in the blended pineapple and the sugar. Cook the pineapple while KEEP ON STIRRING until the natural juice got reduced COMPLETELY, brown in color, and the pineapple become sticky like a jam. Turn off the stove and cool the jam completely.

(Panaskan sebuah panci Teflon dengan api medium, tuang nanas yang telah diblender dan gula pasir, masak sambil TERUS DIADUK hingga cairan nanas hilang SEPENUHNYA, dan terbentuk selai lengket dan berwarna kecoklatan. Angkat dari kompor dan dinginkan sempurna.)

2. In a big bowl, beat the butter using hand mixer on high for about 10 minutes. Then, put in the sugar powder and beat again on medium for about 5 minutes. Put in salt and egg and beat on high for another 2 minutes

(Pada sebuah mangkuk besar, kocok butter dengan menggunakan hand mixer dengan kecepatan tinggi selama 10 menit. Masukkan gula bubuk dan kocok lagi selama 5 menit. Masukkan garam dan telur, kocok lagi selama 2 menit dengan kecepatan tinggi.)

3. Slightly shieve the flour 1/3 part a time into the bowl with the mixer on low. Do until all of the flour ends. You will end up with crumbly soft dough. Turn off the mixer and mix the dough with your hand for one minute to form a big ball. Divide the dough onto 2 and shape balls again. Cover each ball with plastic wrap tightly and refrigerate for 1 hour.

(Perlahan saring 1/3 bagian tepung kedalam mangkuk sambil mixer masih menyala dengan kecepatan rendah. Lakukan hingga sisa tepung habis perlahan. Adonan akan berupa gumpalan gumpalan lembut. Matikan mixer dan satukan adonan menjadi bola besar dengan manggunakan tangan selama 1 menit. Bagi adonan menjadi 2 bagian dan bentuk bola lagi. Bungkus masing-masing bola adonan dengan plastic wrap rapat rapat dan masukkan dalam kulkas (bukan freezer) selama 1 jam)

4. Take out the dough form the fridge and scoop 1/2 tablespoon of it, round it onto ball shape, and set aside. Repeat until all of the dough formed onto balls. Take one ball and flatten it on your palm, then scoop 1/2 teaspoons of pineapple jam and place it on the center of the dough. Wrap the jam tight and once again roll the dough forming a ball. Repeat the process until all of the balls have pineapple jam inside. Refrigerate the balls for another 30 minutes, covered with plastic wrap.

(Keluarkan adonan dari kulkas dan skup 1/2 sendok makan adonan, bentuk menjadi bola bulat, sisihkan. Ulangi proses hingga semua adonan berbentuk bola bulat kecil. Ambil sebuah bola adonan dan pipihkan dengan tangan lalu skup 1/2 sendok teh selai nanas dan letakkan di tengah adonan kulit. Bungkus rapat dan bentuk menjadi bola kecil lagi. Ulangi proses ini hingga semua bola memiliki isian selai nanas didalamnya. Tutup nastar mentah dengan plastik. plastic wrap dan simpan dalam lemari es selama 30 menit.)

5. Preheat the oven to 180 C. Base the baking tray with baking paper and place on the tart one by one carefully. Brush the tarts with egg yolk carefully. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edge of the cookie becomes little bit brown.

(Panaskan oven hingga 180 C. Alasi baking tray dengan baking paper dan letakkan nastar satu per satu. Olesi permukaan nastar mentah dengan kuning telur secara merata. Panggang selama 15-20 menit atau hingga pinggiran nastar menjadi sedikit kecoklatan.)
