Beef Bolognese Shell Pasta “Pasta Kerang Isi Beef” (Bilingual Eng-Indo)

As a pasta lover, I tried to make this Beef Bolognese stuffed Conchiglioni yesterday for dinner. This is the first time for me to make this and I was so happy with the result. I stuffed the pasta with simple beef on Bolognese sauce along with Gouda cheese. The pasta were very smooth and mouth watering. Here is the recipe.

(Teman-teman ini aku share resep untuk bikin Pasta Kerang yang namanya Conchiglioni ini, model kerang yang besar, bukan yang kecil, isi daging sapi giling dengan saus Bolognes botolan. Ini kali pertama aku bikin ini, berasa kayak makan di resto Italy. Unik dan lembut pastanya, nggak kerasa udah abis 7 biji sendiri. Nah, ini resepnya..)

Beef Bolognese Stuffed Shell Pasta

Ingredients: (11 shell pasta)

– 15 shell pasta –> cooked following instruction, drained and poured with cold water (pasta bentuk kerang besar –> rebus sesuai kemasan dan tiriskan, lalu siram air dingin. Sisihkan)

– 300 grams of ground beef (daging sapi giling)

– 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (minyak sayur)

– 2 cloves of garlic –> bashed (bawang putih –> geprek)

– 1 onion –> diced (bawang bombay –> potong dadu kecil)

– 1 medium tomato –> diced (tomat ukuran sedang –> potong dadu)

– some parsley –> chopped (peterseli –> cincang)

– salt and pepper (garam dan merica hitam secukupnya)

– 150 grams of grated cheese (I used Gouda) (Keju parut)

– 50 grams of Mozzarella cheese (keju Mozzarella)

– 500 ml Bolognese sauce (saus Bolognese botolan)

– another 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (minyak sayur untuk tambahan ketika dipanggang)

Steps:

1. Dry the inner side of the pasta well using kitchen towel. Set them aside.

(Keringkan bagian dalam pasta dengan lap kering dan sisihkan.)

2. Heat a pan on medium and pour in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Saute the garlic and onion until fragrant. Put in tomato adn ground beef and cook until the beef cooked well. Put in 3 tablespoons of Bolognese sauce along with some salt and pepper. Mix well until boiling, put in the grated cheese and stir until the cheese melt. Sprinkle some chopped parsley in and stir well. Turn off the heat.

(Panaskan wajan dengan api medium lalu tuang 2 sendok makan minyak sayur. Tumis bawang putih dan bawang bombay sampai harum. Masukkan potongan tomat dan daging sapi giling, masak hingga daging matang betul. Masukkan 3 sendok makan bumbu Bolognese botolan bersama garam dan merica hitam secukupnya. Masak hingga mendidih, lalu masukkan parutan keju dan aduk hingga keju meleleh, lalu taburi cacahan peterseli dan aduk lagi. Matikan api.)

3. Preheat the oven for 180 C.

(Panaskan oven hingga 180 C.)

4. Stuff 1 tablespoon of beef filling into a shell. Repeat until all of the pasta stuffed.

(Masukkan 1 sendok makan daging sapi kedalam satu buah pasta, dan sisihkan. Ulangi hingga semua pasta terisi daging.)

5. Back to the pan, heat the remain Bolognese sauce in a jar until boiling. Set aside.

(Kembali ke wajan, panaskan sisa saus Bolognese dalam botol hingga mendidih. Matikan api dan sisihkan.)

6. Prepare a casserole, spread 3 tablespoons of cooked Bolognese sauce. Place in the pasta carefully one by one. Pour in the remain sauce on among the pasta, pour on 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil on top of the pasta and sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese. And bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn off the oven and serve the pasta.

(Siapkan sebuah pinggan, olesi permukaan dasar pinggan dengan 3 sendok makan saus Bolognes yang telah dimasak tadi. Letakkan pasta satu per satu dengan perlahan diatas saus dan ratakan. Tuang sisa saus Bolognes di sekitar pasta. Teteskan 2 sendok makan minyak sayur di atas pasta dan terakhir tutup pasta dengan parutan keju Mozzarella. Panggang selama 15 menit. Matikan oven dan sajikan pasta setelah matang. Yummm…)
