Cup Bread Rolls “Roti Cup” (Bilingual Eng-Indo)

Bread in cupcake tray, I tried this funny thing yesterday. And the result came out really good, soft and bouncy. I filled some of them with Nutella, yet some don’t have any filling. Here is the recipe!

(Teman-teman ini aku share resep untuk bikin Roti manis pake cetakan cupcake, ternyata hasilnya lucu, cepet banget nge-bake nya pake derajat gede, plus nggak ribet bikinnya, asal ada mixer aja. Aku pake hand mixer biasa. Rotinya kenyal plus mentul-mentul banget permukaannya. Ini resep untuk 12 roti, pas satu tray cupcake itu, sebagian aku isi Nutella, sebagian kosongan. Yuk, coba bikin juga!)

Cup bread rolls

Ingredients: (12 bread)

– 1 cup of warm water (236 ml air hangat)

– 1 package of yeast (1 bungkus ragi instant)

– 3 tablespoons of white sugar (gula pasir)

– 2 tablespoons of butter (butter)

– 1 egg (telur ayam)

– 1/2 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 2,5 cup all purpose flour (312 grams tepung terigu)

– Some Nutella or other filling you like (Selai kacang coklat Nutella/ merk lain/ boleh juga gunakan keju, meses, kismis, dll)

– 12 cupcake liner (kertas baking model cup untuk cupcakes)

-1 egg yolk for brushing (kuning telur untuk olesan)

Steps:

1. In a big bowl, mix together warm water, butter, yeast, and sugar using spatula. Mix well and let it rest for 10 minutes until the bubbles appears.

(Pada mangkuk besar, campur bersama air hangat, butter, ragi instant dan gula pasir dengan menggunakan spatula. Campur rata dan biarkan selama 10 menit hingga muncul gelembung ragi.)

2. Beat the egg and pour it in the bowl, mix well using spatula and put in the flour and salt, mix again well using spatula.

(Masukkan telur dan aduk rata dengan spatula, kemudian masukkan tepung dan garam, aduk rata lagi dengan spatula.)

3. Knead the super sticky dough using your MIXER for about 10 minutes. The dough will remain sticky but that is ok.

(Uleni adonan yang tampak sangat lengket dengan MIXER selama 10 menit. Adonan akan tampak tetap lengket, tetapi biarkan saja tidak usah tambah tepung lagi.)

4. Place the bowl covered with plastic wrap in a warm place and let the dough rise for 40 minutes or doubled in size.

(Letakkan mangkuk di tempat hangat sambil ditutup dengan plastik/ kain basah selama 40 menit atau hingga ukurannya 2 kali semula.)

5. Line your baking tray with cupcake liner.

(Lapisi baking tray dengan kertas cupcake.)

6. Take your ice cream scoop and scoop some dough, then place the dough in the cupcake tray. Repeat until done. If you want to fill them with Nutella/ other filling, make small hole on the center of the dough making a small well, then slightly fill with filling. Seal it tight by wrapping the dough. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.

(Ambil skup es krim dan skup adonan, letakkan dalam cupcake tray. Ulangi hingga adonan habis. Jika ingin mengisi roti dengan Nutella atau filling lain, lubangi bagian tengah adonan (jangan sampai robek alasnya/ tembus) lalu isi dengan filling, segera rapatkan lagi. Biarkan adonan mengembang lagi selama 10 menit.)

7. Preheat your oven to 210 C. Brush the surface of the dough with egg wash, repeat until all of the dough covered with egg was.

(Panaskan oven hingga 210 C. Olesi permukaan adonan dengan telur kocok, ulangi hingga semua permukaan adonan terlapisi telur kocok.)

8. Bake the dough in the oven for 11-12 minutes. Take the bread out the oven and let them cool completely before serving.

(Panggang adonan dalam oven selama 11-12 menit. Keluarkan roti dari oven dan biarkan mendingin sempurna sebelum disajikan.)

10. Take out the sweet rolls and let it cool completely. You can directly serve the bread that day, but keep it sealed in plastic bag/ zip loc bag until the day after will give you smoother texture.

(Keluarkan roti dari oven dan biarkan mendingin sempurna. Bisa langsung disajikan pada hari yang sama, namun tekstur roti akan lebih lembut pada hari kedua jika disimpan dalam kantung plastik/ zip loc yang ditutup rapat. Selesai!)
