(Teman-teman, ini aku share resep bikin Terong Balado yang yummy banget. Yuk, cobain!)
Spicy Chili Eggplant Terong Balado
Ingredients:
  • 2 medium eggplants –> cut onto 6 pieces (terong ukuran medium –> potong menjadi 6 bagian)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (bawang putih)
  • 1/2 shallot (bawang merah 4 butir)
  • 3 red jalapeño chili (cabe merah besar)
  • 1 medium tomato (tomat)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt (garam)
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar (gula pasir)
  • 7 grams of shrimp belacan (terasi)
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (minyak sayur)
Steps:
1. In a frying pan, pour in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and grill the eggplant until bit soft. Take out the eggplant and set aside.
Still in the same pan, pan fry the shrimp belacan until fragrant.
(Pada sebuah wajan, tuang 1 sendok makan minyak dan goreng terong hingga empuk. Angkat terong dari wajan dan
sisihkan. Masih di wajan yang sama, goreng terasi hingga harum )
2. Blend together the belacan, shallot, tomato until soft.
(Haluskan bersama terasi goreng, cabe merah besar, bawang merah dan tomat hingga lembut.)
3. Heat the frying pan on medium and pour in 1 tablespoon of oil, sauté the garlic until fragrant and pour the tomato shallot
blend. Put in salt and sugar. Cook for 7 minutes while keep on stirring. Put in the eggplant and mix well for another 5
minutes. Place the eggplant on a plate and serve warm!
(Panaskan wajan dengan api medium dan tuang 1 sendok makan minyak sayur. Tumis bawang putih hingga harum dan
tuang bumbu halus dan bumbu dengan garam dan gula. Masak selama 7 menit sambil terus diaduk. Masukkan terong dan  aduk rata perlahan selama 5 menit. Angkat dan sajikan panas!)
