Veggies Personal Calzone (Bilingual Eng-Indo)

Here is my veggies personal calzone recipe. It’s very simple to make and serve personal portion. I add carrot, leek, champignon mushroom, and mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper too. Here we go!

(Teman-teman ini aku share resep untuk bikin Calzone, hanya diisi sayuran wortel, bawang prei, jamur champignon segar dan keju mozzarella. Ayuk, bikin ramai ramai!)

Ingredients: (for 3 medium Calzones) (untuk 3 calzone medium)

Dough (Adonan Kulit):

– 1/2 cup of water (air hangat 1/2 cangkir)

– 1/2 tablespoon of sugar (gula pasir)

– 4 grams of yeast (ragi/ fermipan)

– 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil (minyak sayur)

– 1 1/4 cup of all purpose flour (tepung terigu 1 1/4 cangkir)

– 1/8 teaspoon of salt (garam)

Filling (Isian):

– 1 carrot –> sliced thin (wortel diiris tipis)

– 2 leek –> cut small (bawang prei dipotong kecil)

– 3 Champignon mushrooms –> sliced thin (jamur Champignon –> iris tipis)

– 150 grams of mozzarella cheese (keju mozzarella)

– 2 Toast Cheese sheets –> shred small (keju lembaran –> disobek kecil)

– salt and pepper (garam dan merica hitam secukupnya)

– some vegetable oil (minyak sayur)

Steps:

1. Mix the yeast, water and sugar. Rest for 10 minutes. Then, add salt, oil and the flour and mix again. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. Divide the dough onto 3 and round each of the dough forming balls. Oil one rectangular casserole evenly, oil the dough too then put the dough in the casserole and cover it with plastic wrap. Rest the dough balls for 2 hours in warm place.

(Campur ragi, air dan gula pasir. Biarkan selama 10 menit. Masukkan garam, minyak dan tepung dan aduk rata. Uleni adonan selama 5 menit hinnga adonan lembut dan elastis. Bagi adonan menjadi 3 dan bentuk masing masing menjadi bola-bola. Lumuri sebuah casserolle/ pinggan dengan minyak sayur dan lumuri pula adonan-adonan tadi. Letakkan bola-bola adonan dalam pinggan dan tutup rapat dengan plastic wrap. Diamkan selama 2 jam di suhu ruang.)

2. In a bowl, mix all of the veggies, Cheese sheets and mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Divide the filling onto 3. We shall fill one sheet of dough with 1/3 part of the filling, so each sheet got even amount of filling.

(Pada sebuah mangkuk, campur rata semua sayuran yang telah dipotong, keju lembaran, dan keju mozzarella. Beri garam dan bubuk merica hitam secukupnya. Bagi campuran isian ini manjadi 3, nantinya satu lembar adonan diisi 1 bagian isian ini)

3. Preheat the oven to 200 C. Lay baking paper on your baking tray.

(Panaskan oven hingga 200 C. Alasi baking tray dengan baking paper)

3. After 2 hours, thin flour your working surface, then flatten each ball using rolling pin forming flat round sheet. Fill half part of the sheet with 1 part of filling and seal it tight with pressing method using fork/ folding frame like when you make deep fried pastry. Repeat until the sheet and filling end. Brush each surface of the calzones with vegetable oil then sprinkle some sesame seed. Bake for 20-25 minutes or golden brown. Take out the calzone from the oven and cool on cooling rack for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

(Setelah 2 jam, taburi meja bersih dengan tepung tipis-tipis, gilas masing masing adonan menjadi lembaran tipis bundar. Isi 1/2 bagian dari lembar adonan dengan 1 bagian isi, kemudian tutup rapat seperti membuat pastel. Pastikan pinggiran lembaran tertutup rapat. Ulangi hingga adonan dan isian habis. Olesi masing-masing Calzone dengan minyak sayur dan taburi wijen. Panggang selama 20-25 menit atau hingga coklat keemasan. Keluarkan dari oven dan dinginkan selama 5 menit di rak pendingan kue sebelum disajikan. Enjoy! )
