Butter Tropical Chicken (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

I just made this for dinner. Basically it’s butter chicken yet I put some veggies and even fruit to spruce it up even more. Here is the recipe!

(Teman-teman ini aku sharing resep Ayam Mentega Tropis yang baru aku bikin di rumah. Awalnya resepnya mirip dengan ayam goreng mentega, tapi ini aku oven ayamnya dan tambah tumisannya dengan sayur dan buah, rasanya rame, gurih plus seger manis. Aku oven ayamnya sebelum dicampur bumbu, tapi kalo mau boleh juga digoreng garing dengan minyak. Yuk, cobain!)

Butter Tropical Chicken

Ingredients:

– 1 kg of chicken (ayam potong)

– 2 tablespoon of soy sauce (kecap asin)

– 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (person jeruk lemon, boleh juga gunakan jeruk nipis)

– 100 grams of pineapple (buah nanas)

– 1 tomato (buah tomat)

– 1 leek (bawang prei)

– 3 cloves of garlic (bawang putih)

– 3 cloves of small shallots (bawang merah)

– 1/2 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper (merica bubuk)

– 1 tablespoon of sugar (gula)

– 2 tablespoon of butter (butter)

Steps:

1. Cut the chicken, pineapple, tomato, garlics, shallots, and leek anyway you like.

(Potong-potong ayam, buah nanas, tomat, bawang putih, bawang merah, dan bawang prei sesuai selera.)

2. Season the chicken with lemon juice and soy sauce. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

(Lumuri potongan ayam dengan perasan jeruk lemon/ nipis dan kecap asin. Masukkan ayam dalam lemari es selama 1 jam.)

3. Preheat the oven (or you can deep fry the chicken instead) to 180 C. Then, roast the oven for about 40-50 minutes or until cooked.

(Panaskan oven (atau boleh juga digoreng ayamnya, digoreng garing) hingga 180 C. Lalu jika oven sudah panas, panggang ayam selama 40-50 menit hingga matang.)

4. In a frying pan, melt on the butter on medium heat.

(Pada sebuah penggorengan, lelehkan butter dengan api medium.)

5. Toss in the garlic, and saute until fragrant. Put in the shallots and saute until fragrant too.

(Tumis bawang putih hingga harum, tumis juga bawang merah setelahnya hingga harum.)

6. Put in the chicken and saute for 2 minutes. Put in the salt, pepper and sugar too and mix well.

(Masukkan ayam kedalam wajan dan tumis selama 2 menit. Masukkan segera garam, merica bubuk dan gula, aduk rata.)

7. Put in the cut pineapple, tomato and leek. Cook for another 2 minutes. Done! Serve the chicken with your fave carbs!

(Masukkan potongan nanas, tomat dan bawang prei. Masak selama 2 menit. Selesai!  Sajikan segera.)
