Easy Knead Nutella Sweet Rolls (Bilingual-Eng-indo)

It’s almost everyone dream to have sweet things through hard times. Well, my craving today is Sweet Rolls. This bread is kind no milk bread, it’s uses water instead of milk, but the taste of the butter enrich every bites of it. I’m using small baking pan size of 20 x 12 cm, adjust the size of your pan, you can use lasagna casserole instead. Please have a look and try soon, the kneading process only takes you 10 minutes. Easy and yummy!

(Teman-teman, ini aku share resep yang aku pake kemarin untuk bikin roti manis sederhana. Tidak pakai susu cukup pakai air, tidak lama menunggu proofing cukup 40 menit per proofing. Rasanya enak plus rotinya lembut disobek. Aku pakai loyang kecil ukuran 20 x 12 cm, sesuaikan dengan loyang kalian masing masing ya, boleh juga pakai casserole untuk bikin lasagna. Yuk, cobain!)

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of warm water (236 ml air hangat)

– 1 package of yeast (1 bungkus ragi instant)

– 3 tablespoons of white sugar (gula pasir)

– 2 tablespoons of butter (butter)

– 1 egg (telur ayam)

– 1/2 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 2,5 cup all purpose flour (312 grams tepung terigu)

– Some Nutella (Selai kacang coklat Nutella/ merk lain)

– Some butter for brushing the pan (sedikit butter untuk mengolesi baking pan)

-1 egg yolk for brushing (kuning telur untuk olesan)

– Some sesame seed (sedikit biji wijen)

Steps:

1. In a big bowl, mix together warm water, butter, yeast, and sugar using spatula. Mix well and let it rest for 10 minutes until the bubbles appears.

(pada mangkuk besar, campur bersama air hangat, butter, ragi instant dan gula pasir dengan menggunakan spatula. Campur rata dan biarkan selama 10 menit hingga muncul gelembung ragi.)

2. Beat the egg and pour it in the bowl, mix well using spatula and put in the flour and salt, mix again well using spatula.

(Masukkan telur dan aduk rata dengan spatula, kemudian masukkan tepung dan garam, aduk rata lagi dengan spatula.)

3. Knead the super sticky dough using your salad ladle up and down for 10 minutes. The dough will remain sticky but that is ok.

(Uleni adonan yang tampak sangat lengket dengan menggunakan sendok sayur besar dengan gerakan keatas dan kebawah sambil sedikit dibanting seperti dioblok-oblok untuk membentuk gluten, uleni selama 10 menit. Adonan akan tampak tetap lengket, tetapi biarkan saja tidak usah tambah tepung lagi.)

4. Place the bowl covered with plastic wrap in a warm place and let the dough rise for 40 minutes or doubled in size.

(Letakkan mangkuk di tempat hangat sambil ditutup dengan plastik/ kain basah selama 40 menit atau hingga ukurannya 2 kali semula.)

5. Brush your baking pan/ casserole with butter.

(Olesi baking pan/ casserole dengan butter.)

6. After 40 minutes, beat the doubles size dough and prepare your surface dusted with flour. Put on the dough on your working surface and divide it into 8 equal size using knife.

(Setelah 40 menit, kempeskan adonan dan siapkan meja ditaburi sedikit tepung. Letakkan adonan diatas meja dan bagi rata menjadi 8 potong dengan menggunakan pisau.)

7. Rub the surface of each small dough with thin flour, start to put one dough in your palm, flat it slightly (use thin flour if you feel it too sticky) and put in 1 tablespoon of Nutella on the center of the dough, seal it tight and form a small ball. Place it in your casserole/ baking pan. Repeat the process until the dough ends. You’ll have 8 small balls in your pan now. Proof the dough for another 40 minutes in a warm place.

(Taburi masing masing adonan dengan tepung tipis-tipis, mulai letakkan satu adonan di tangan, pipihkan perlahan (taburi dengan tepung tipis tipis lagi juka dirasa adonan lengket di tangan. Letakkan 1 sendok makan selai Nutella di tengah adonan, lipat rapat membentuk bola. Letakkan didalam baking pan/ casserole. Ulangi langkah hingga adonan habis. Biarkan adonan mengembang lagi selama 40 menit di dalam lemari (tidak perlu di tutup dengan plastik).

8. Preheat your oven to 210 C.

(Panaskan oven hingga 210 C)

9. Bake the dough in the oven for 9 minutes. Open the oven and take out the baking pan after 9 minutes and slightly rub the surface of it with beaten egg yolk, sprinkle with some sesame seed. Put in the oven and bake for another 3 minutes or until golden brown.

(Panggang adonan dalam oven selama 9 menit. Buka Oven dan keluarkan adonan, oles permukaannya dengan kuning telur yang sudah dikocok lepas dan taburi dengan biji wijen. Masukkan kembali dalam oven dan panggang lagi selama 3 menit atau hingga kecoklatan.)

10. Take out the sweet rolls and let it cool completely. You can directly serve the bread that day, but keep it sealed in plastic bag/ zip loc bag until the day after will give you smoother texture.

(Keluarkan roti dari oven dan biarkan mendingin sempurna. Bisa langsung disajikan pada hari yang sama, namun tekstur roti akan lebih lembut pada hari kedua jika disimpan dalam kantung plastik/ zip loc yang ditutup rapat. Selesai!)
