Churros (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

Who doesn’t love this simple Mexican fritters? Me myself love to make this simple yummy dessert for my family. Here I share you simple recipe I used to make Churros. Use only simple ingredients, and make about 15 sticks with 15 cm length. Here we go!

 (Teman-teman ini aku share resep bikin Churros yang simple tapi enak banget. Cara bikinnya gampang dan pasti pengen bikin lagi dan lagi, apalagi kalo anggota keluarga pada doyan juga. Yuk, segera dibikin…T)

Churros

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of hot water (236 ml) (air panas)

– 1 cup of flour (124 grams) (tepung terigu)

– 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil (minyak sayur/ goreng)

– 1/4 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 2 tablespoon of sugar (gula pasir)

– oil for deep frying (minyak goreng)

– 3 tablespoons of white sugar (gula pasir)

– 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (bubuk kayu manis)

Steps:

1. In a small pan mix together hot water, oil, sugar and salt. Boil the water.

(Pada sebuah wajan/ panci kecil didihkan bersama air panas, minyak goreng, gula, dan garam.)

2. Directly put in the flour into the mix water. Stir well for about 5 minutes.

(Segera masukkan tepung kedalam campuran air diatas dan aduk rata selama 5 menit.)

3. Take your piping bag/ ziploc/ plastic bag, cut the tip and put in the rose piping nozzle. Fill the bag with the dough.

(Ambil kantung plastik bersih/ kantung ziploc juga boleh, potong ujungnya dan masukkan corong semprot kue untuk membuat bunga mawar dan isi kantung dengan adonan.)

 4. Heat oil in a deep pan enough to deep fry the churros.

(Panaskan penggorengan dengan minyak cukup banyak untuk menggoreng churrosnya.)

5. Pipe the churro into the hot oil for about 15 cm length, cut the dough with knife/ scissors and fry it until golden brown. Take the churro out of the oil and drain the excess oil in paper towel/ shieve.

(Semprot adonan diatas minyak panas sepanjang 15 cm dan potong dengan pisau/ gunting. Goreng hingga kuning kecoklatan. Keluarkan churro dari dalam minyak dan tiriskan minyaknya.)

6. On a clean plate, put in 3 tablespoons of white sugar, mix it with 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Roll the churro on the sugar mix and set aside, ready to serve!

(Pada sebuah piring bersih, campur 3 sendok makan gula dan 1/4 sendok teh bubuk kayu manis. Gulingkan churro diatas campuran gula dan sisihkan. Sajikan hangat!)
