Chicken Pop Corn (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

Here is the recipe I use for this yummy tiny bites. Crunchy and addicting, suitable for little party, carnival and potlucks. They are very easy to make and you gonna need to deep fry this delicacy. Well, here we go!

(Teman-teman ini aku share resep Chicken Pop ato yang biasa disebut Chicken Pok-Pok yang mirip dengan nuggets kecil yang biasa dijual frozen di supermarket. Cara bikinnya super gampang dan rasanya super crunchy, bikin pengen nambah terus, kayak nyamil pop corn cuman yang ini dari daging ayam beneran. Yuk, cobain bikin!)

Chicken Pop Corn

Ingredients:

 – 400 grams of chicken breast (dada ayam)

– 1 cup of all purpose flour (124 grams) (tepung terigu)

– 1 cup of cold milk  (236 ml) (susu cair dingin)

– 1 teaspoon of salt (garam)

– 1 teaspoon of pepper (merica bubuk)

– 1 cup of all purpose flour (extra for coating) (124 grams) (tepung terigu untuk melapisi ayam)

– 1 teaspoon of baking powder (baking powder)

– oil for frying (minyak untuk menggoreng)

Steps:

1. Preheat your pan on medium with oil in it.

(Panaskan wajan dengan minyak didalamnya dengan api medium.)

2. Cut the chicken breast onto small dices.

(Potong-potong daging ayam menjadi dadu kecil-kecil.)

3. Mix the cold mix, salt, pepper, and flour well.

(Campur bersama susu cair dingin, garam, merica bubuk, dan tepung terigu secara merata.)

4. Put the flour for extra coating in a box with lid, and mix it with baking powder.

(Letakkan tepung terigu untuk lapisan luar pada sebuah kotak plastik bertutup dan campur rata dengan baking powder.)

 5. Begin to dip the chicken into the flour batter and let it coat the chicken.

(Celupkan daging ayam di adonan cair dan aduk rata supaya daging terlapisi sempurna.)

6. Put the coated chicken onto the mix of flour and baking powder. Begin to close the lid of the box and shake the box well.

(Letakkan daging ayam yang telah berlapis adonan pada kotak plastik berisi tepung dan baking powder. Tutup kotak dan kocok-kocok hingga tepung merata di permukaan daging.)

7. Deep fry the chicken unti golden brown. Put them in paper towel/ shieve. Done! Serve warm!

(Goreng ayam hingga kecoklatan. Tiriskan minyak berlebih dan sajikan hangat.)
