Moist Vanilla Cupcakes (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

What could be more popular than cupcakes this day? Let’s learn how to make them here! This is the recipe I’ve been using at home. The cupcakes are very moist and stay nice during storage in fridge for days.

(Teman-teman ini aku share resep cupcake vanilla yang biasa aku pakai di rumah. Hasilnya cantik dan enak. lembut meski berhari hari disimpan di lemari es. Yuk, bikin rame-rame!)

Moist Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients:

Cupcakes:

-1/2 cup (113 grams) butter, room temperature (mentega dalam keadaan suhu ruang/ bukan baru keluar dari lemari es)

-2/3 cup (130 grams) sugar (gula pasir)

-3 large eggs (telur)

-1 teaspoon of vanilla (vanilla)

-1 1/2 cups (195 grams) of flour (tepung terigu)

-1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder

-1/4 teaspoon of salt (garam)

-1/4 cup (60 ml) of milk (susu cair)

Buttercream Frosting:

2 cups (230 grams) icing or powdered sugar (gula putih halus/ gula icing)

1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature (mentega dalam keadaan suhu ruang)

1 teaspoon of vanilla (vanila)

2 tablespoons of milk or cream (cream cair/ susu cair)

Steps:

 1. Preheat the oven to 356 F. Place in the cupcakes liners on the muffin tray.

(Panaskan oven hingga 180 C. Letakkan kertas cupcake di muffin tray.)

2. In a large bowl beat in the butter on high for about 7 minutes. Then, shift in the sugar, beat again for another 3 minutes until soft and fluffy.

(Dalam sebuah mangkuk besar, kocok mentega dengan kecepatan mixer tinggi. Kemudian masukkan gula pasir kedalamnya dan kocok selama 3 menit hinggal lembut)

3. Put in the egg and mix well. Continued by adding 1/3 of the flour (shifted inside the bowl). Mix well for 10 seconds.

(Masukkan telur satu persatu sambil dimixer. Kemudian masukkan 1/3 bagian dari tepung (ayak tepungnya kedalam mangkuk). Aduk rata lagi selama 10 detik.)

4. Put in the next 1/3 flour and mix for 10 seconds. Continued by the last 1/3 flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and milk. Mix for 1 minutes.

(Masukkan 1/3 bagian dari tepung berikutnya dan aduk selama 10 detik, Dilanjutkan dengan 1/3 bagian tepung yang terakhir, baking powder, garam, vanilla, dan susu cair. Aduk selama 1 menit.)

5. Pour in the batter into the muffin tray evenly (about 1/2 level of the tray) and bake the batter for about 18 minutes.

(Tuangkan adonan kedalam tray kira kira tingginya 1/2 bagian cup, jangan penuh. Panggang selama 18 menit.)

6. Take the cupcakes out of the oven and let cool completely.

(Keluarkan cupcakes dari oven dan biarkan mendingin sempurna.)

 7. In a large bowl, beat the butter for the buttercream on high for about 7 minutes. Then, shift in the powdered sugar, mix well for another 3 minutes.

(Dalam sebuah mangkuk besar, kocok mentega untuk buttercream dengan mixer kecepatan tinggi selama 7 menit. Kemudian, ayak gula halus kedalam mangkuk, aduk lagi selama 3 menit.)

 8.Put in the vanilla and the cream/ milk. Put in desired food coloring too if you want. Mix for another 1 minute.

(Masukkan vanila dan cream/ susu cair. Beri pewarna makanan favortimu jika diinginkan. Aduk lagi selama 1 menit.)

9. Cut the tip of your piping bag, put in the nozzle, put in the buttercream and twist the end of the bag to secure the cream while piping.

(Potong ujung dari plastik/ wadah penyemprot, masukkan corong penyemprot, masukkan buttercream dan pelintir bagian atasnya agar buttercream tidak meluber ketika menyemprot.)

 10. If the cupcakes are cool completely, pipe the buttercream evenly. Decorate them with your fave sprinkles. Serve!

(Jika cupcakes sudah dingin sempurna, semprotkan buttercream nya sesuka hati. Taburkan hiasan coklat/ permen jika suka. Sajikan!)

    hay.. salam kenal…. saya dari indonesia… good job buat web nya resepnya patut dicoba deh… mau nanya biasannya pake butter apa…. butter sama margarin beda kan… terimakasih

      Layly Assegaf: salam kenal Layly ..terima kasih ya dukungannya. Kalo butter merk yang paling oke di Indo pasti Wisjman ya, wangi dia, ada juga yang suka Hollman, butter sama margarin jelas beda, saya sampai sekarang nggak berani pakai margarin karena banyak yang bilang margarin jauh lebih berbahaya dibanding butter, bahkan ada yang bilang margarin hanya setingkat diatas cat (paint), karena kandungannya itu. kalo butter jelas aman untuk anak karena memang dari cream yang dikocok saja. Semoga membantu ya..

    Shearly, mau nanya.. waktu masukkan tepung di mix lagi.. maksudnya pake spatula atau pake mixernya ya..? kecepatannya tinggi atau low kalau pake mixer? thanks…
