How to make Homemade Schnitzel (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

Here I share you how I made my pork schnitzel at home. It makes wonderful dinner and you’ll ask for more and more right after. Using simple basic ingredients for schnitzel and here we go..!

(Teman-teman, ini aku share cara bikin Schnitzel sendiri di rumah. Schnitzel adalah salah satu hidangan kesayangan warga Jerman. Cara bikinnya mudah (sama dengan bikin Katsu Jepang dan Donkase Korea). Rasanya gurih dan renyah karena gorengan tepung rotinya. Yuk, coba bikin sendiri!)

Homemade Schnitzel

Ingredients:

– 500 grams of fat free pork (daging babi tanpa lemak)

– salt (garam)

– black pepper (merica bubuk)

– 2 eggs (telur)

– 1 cup of flour (120 grams)( tepung terigu)

– 1 cup of bread crumbs (120 grams)(tepung panir/roti)

– oil for frying (minyak untuk menggoreng)

Steps:

1. Slice the pork onto 1 cm thick each slice. Pin the surface evenly using fork to make holes.

(Iris daging hingga tebalnya 1 cm masing-masing irisan. Tusuk-tusuk permukaannya dengan garpu.)

2. Beat the meat with tenderizer/ rolling pin until they are only 0,5 cm thick.

(Pukul-pukul daging dengan menggunakan pemukul daging, hingga tebalnya hanya 0,5 cm.)

3. Season with salt and pepper evenly.

(Bumbui dengan garam dan bubuk merica secukupnya.)

4. Preheat your frying pan on stove on medium. Pour in enough oil to deep fry the Schnitzel.

(Panaskan penggorengan diatas api medium. Tuang minyak agak banyak untuk menggoreng Schnitzel-nya)

5. Beat the eggs until they are bit foamy.

(Kocok telur hingga sedikit berbusa.)

6. Dredge the meat on the flour evenly both sides.

(Baluri daging dengan tepung secara merata di kedua sisinya)

7. Dip the floured meat on the egg evenly both sides. Drip the excess of the egg down.

(Celupkan daging berbalur tepung kedalam telur kocok dan teteskan sisa telur dari permukaan daging.)

8. Drag the meat on bread crumbs evenly both sides (don’t press the bread crumbs to the meat, just slightly drag the meat).

(Baluri daging dengan tepung panir/roti dikedua sisinya (jangan tekan-tekan tepung roti dipermukaan daging).)

9. Fry the meat in the oil until the surface golden brown. Take the Schnitzel out the oil and put it in a sieve to drip the excess oil. Serve!

(Goreng daging hingga matang kecoklatan. Keluarkan dari dalam minyak dan tiriskan di saringan. Sajikan!)
