How to Make Easy Butter Roasted Chicken (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

Many times I wonder how do they make this shinny crunch yummy look roasted chicken in resto then today I try to make them my self. The result doesn’t go as magnificent as usual Chinese restaurant ultimate roasted chicken, but I am still happy with that somehow. The taste was buttery on the skin and soft inside. Bored of your common dinner, try this easy recipe! (I’m using chicken thigh legs in this recipe)

(Teman-teman, ini aku share resep ayam panggang mentega yang mudah bikinnya. Ayamnya bakal beraroma butter /mentega banget dan rasa daging nya empuk nyuzz. Coba bikin yuk!)

Homemade Butter Roasted Chicken


– 1 kg chicken (ayam potong)

– Approximately 100 gr of butter (mentega)

– salt (garam)

– white pepper (bubuk merica putih)


1. Sprinkle evenly salt and pepper on the surface of the chicken.

(Taburi dan ratakan garam dan merica diseluruh permukaan ayam.)

2. Put the chicken in the fridge uncovered for overnight.

(Simpan ayam didalam lemari es selama 1 malam (kurang lebih 8 jam), dalam keadaan tidak tertutup plastik,box, dll.)

3. Preheat your oven to 500 F (260 C)

(Panaskan oven hingga 260 C.)

4. Take the chicken out of fridge, tap them dry using paper towel, and start to brush them with butter evenly.

(Keluarkan ayam dari dalam lemari es, lap perlahan ayam dengan kertas tissue dapur agar kulitnya kering, dan mulai sapukan mentega padaayam secara merata.)

5. Put the wire rack in the middle and baking pan below, pour in 200 ml of  hot water in the baking pan. Roast the chicken inside the oven for about 15 minutes.

(Letakkan rak pemanggang di bagian tengah oven dan pan pemanggang dibawahnya, tuang 200 ml air panas kedalam pan pemanggangPanggang ayam di dalam oven selama 15 menit.)

6. After 15 minutes, brush the chicken with butter again.

(Setelah 15 menit, lumuri ayam dengan mentega lagi.)

7. Repeat the process number 5 and 6 once more.

(Ulangi proses nomor 5 dan 6 sekali lagi.)

8. Turn down the temperature of the oven to 356 F (180 C) and roast the chicken for about 10 minutes.

(Turunkan suhu oven hingga 180 C dan panggang lagi ayam selama 10 menit.)

9. Brush the chicken with butter again. Roast for another 10 minutes.

(Olesi ayam dengan mentega lagi dan panggang kembali selama 10 menit.)

10. After 10 minutes, brush it with butter again. Roast back for 10 minutes.

(Setelah 10 menit, olesi mentega lagi dan panggang kembali selama 10 menit.)

11. The last, brush the chicken with butter and roast them for the last 10 minutes. Done!

(Terakhir, olesi ayam dengan mentega lagi dan panggang untuk terakhir kalinya selama 10 menit. Selesai!)
