How to make Easy White Bread (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

Hi, fellas..want to impress your friends and family by making your own white bread? Well, this is the easy recipe you want to try then. Only needs simple ingredients and steps.

Slice the bread the size you want

Ingredients:

– 3 cups of All purpose flour (375 grams) (tepung terigu)
– 2 1/2 tbs of Granulated white sugar (14 grams) (gula pasir)
– 1 cup of Milk (250 ml) (susu)
– 1 Egg yolk
– 3/4 tsp of Salt (3 grams) (garam)
– 1 1/2 tbs of unsalted Butter (21 grams) -softened by putting it in the microwave for 15 seconds (mentega yang dilembutkan di microwave selama 15 detik)
– 1 envelope of Yeast (8 grams)

Steps:

1. Mix together milk, butter, salt, and egg yolk in a large bowl
2. Put in the yeast and sugar.
(Masukkan yeast dan gula ke dalamnya)
3. Shift the flour and put it in the mix bowl 1/3 part at a time.
4. Blend the dough together and prepare your working table.
5. Sprinkle little flour on your working table and start to knead the dough until it’s smooth for about 9 minutes.
6. Put the dough on clean large bowl, covered with plastic wrap, and let it raise for about 2 hours.
7. Once it doubled in size, flatten the dough to remove the air inside and roll it to make log shape like your loaf pan.
8. Proof the dough in the loaf pan which has already covered with butter and sprinkled with flour all over the inner side, cover with plastic wrap for about 1 hour.
9. Preheat your oven to 375 F (180 C).
(Panaskan oven ke suhu 180 C)
9. Once it proofed, bake the dough in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until it’s golden brown.
10. Let it cool a while in the baking loaf pan and remove it to cooling rack.
11. After the bread is cool completely, slice it the size you want.
(Setelah roti dalam keadaan dingin seluruhnya, potong-potong sesuai selera)
