How to make Easy Korean Sauted Spicy Pork Belly (Dwejigogi Bokkgeum) (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)

Hi fellas, here I share you easy and simple way to make Korean Spicy Pork Belly a.k.a Dwejigogi Bokkgeum. This recipe needs only simple ingredients and steps to do, yet makes very yummy and addictive dish at once.

(Teman-teman, ini aku share resep masakan Korea yang biasa dipesen turis2 asing kalo mengunjungi negeri ginseng tersebut. Bahan-bahan yang diperlukan tergolong sederhana. Cara bikinnya juga gampang tapi hasilnya mantap.)
Homemade Korean Sauted Spicy Pork Belly (Dwejigogi Bokkgeum)

Ingredients:

-500 grams of pork belly (daging babi lapis/ samsam)
-1 tablespoon of hot pepper paste (disebut juga Gojujang, biasanya dalam kotak merah dijual di Hypermarket/ toko bumbu import)
-1 clove of onion (bawang bombay)
-3 cloves of garlic (bawang putih)
-1 leek (daun bawang, bisa yang kecil, bisa yang gede)
-2 green/ red chili peppers (boleh pilih suka lombok gede yang merah ato yang ijo)
-3/4 tablespoons of hot pepper flakes (disebut juga Gojugaru, serbuk lombok merah giling Korea, beli di Hypermarket/ toko bumbu import)
-3 tablespoons of corn syrup (ini juga khas Korea, sirup jagung bening yang rasanya nggak terlalu manis)
-2 tablespoons of soy sauce (kecap asin)
-1/2 teaspoons of black pepper (merica hitam)
-sesame oil (minyak wijen)
– 2 tablespoons of vegetables oil (minyak sayur)

Steps:
1. Wash and cut pork belly onto small rectangles.
(Cuci bersih dan potong-potong daging babi lapis menjadi kotak-kotak kecil)
2. Chop garlic, leek, green/red pepper and the onion.
(Potong-potong bawang putih, cabe merah/ hijau besar, dan bawang bombay)
3. Mix together the corn syrup, hot pepper flakes, hot pepper paste, and the soy sauce.
(Campur rata sirup jagung, serbuk cabe merah, Gojujang, dan kecap asin)
4. Preheat your pan.
(Panaskan penggorengan)
5. Pour in 2 tbs of oil
(Tuang 2 sendok makan minyak sayur)
6. Saute the garlic and onions and let them smell nice before you add the meat.
(Tumis bawang putih dan bawang bombay hingga harum)
7. Put in the pork belly and sauté them fast for 2 minutes.
(Masukkan daging babi dan tumis selama 2 menit)
8. Pour in the liquid spices (corn syrup mix) and sauté for another 2 minutes.
(Tuang campuran sirup jagung yang telah disiapkan dan tumis selama 2 menit)
9. Pour in sesame oil and the black pepper.
(Tuangkan minyak wijen dan masukkan merica hitam)
10. Sprinkle the leek and green/ red pepper in.
(Masukkan daun bawang dan cabe hijau/merah besar)
11. Saute for another 5 minutes until it’s cooked.
(Tumis selama 5 menit hingga matang)
12. Serve it with warm steam rice!
(sajikan bersama nasi hangat)
